Teri is a powerful advocate for seniors. She came to Sunshine Villa with more than 10 years of experience working with seniors, and she uses her leadership skills to guide her team to provide the best for all who are in her care. She is dedicated to the well-being of her residents, families and the staff at Sunshine Villa. Teri says the best part of her job is watching residents laugh, sing together and smile as they interact with each other and her staff.
Terri ran her own construction company with her husband for more than 20 years and has been an accountant for over 25 years. She’s a stickler for accuracy—and that’s why she likes working with numbers and getting her accounts to balance. Whenever she can, Terri sits with Sunshine Villa residents to listen to their fascinating stories.

The best thing about working at Sunshine Villa is getting to know our residents individually and learning about their interests. Building a loving bond with them, making a wish come true for them, and helping them develop a sense of belonging are the things for which I strive.
